On March 19, 2010 Friday, it was reported in the local papers that there were 16 cases of A(H1N1) in the State of Johor, Malaysia this year. State Women, Family & Community Development Committee Chairman, Dr Robia Kosai said the affected cases were:
Batu Pahat 10 cases
Kluang 3 cases
Ledang 1 case
Muar 1 case
Johor Baru 1 case

Again on April 1, 2010, it was reported in the local papers that 2 schoolchildren from Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor, Malaysia have tested positive for A(H1N1). They were among 6 people admitted to the Kuala Kubu Baru District Hospital with Influenza-like illness.
Health Minitry Disease Control Director, Dr. Lokman Hakim Sulaiman confirmed that the Selangor Health Department had reported a A(H1N1) cluster in Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor.
