A(H1N1) : IT'S STILL WITH US !!!

The Star Online today (Thursday 3Mar2011) reported the return of A(H1N1) with a school student among 3 victims - a Form 4 School Student in Kajang, Selangor
(Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said).

On Tuesday 22Feb2011, the female student, with symptoms of vomiting, headache &
cough for a week but no fever, was taken to a private hospital, when she fainted
after jogging. She was subsequently referred to the Institute of Respiratory
Medicine, Kuala Lumpur & thereafter, to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital where she died
on Thursday 24Feb2011.

The Health Minister also said that the victim's school principal reported that
2 teachers were on sick leave due to fever, cough & flu, while 149 out of 1,600
students in the morning session were absent. He continued to say that the school
management decided to close the school on Wednesday 2Mar2011 as a result of the high rate of absenteeism.

The number of confirmed A(H1N1) cases in 2011 from Tuesday 1Jan2011 until Wednesday 2Mar2011 already stood at 679. Therefore, having every available method of prevention is better than cure. Please take action right NOW, ....right this very minute before
